Tirol Sölden is one of the most famous and popular ski resorts in the world. It is located at an altitude of over 1300 m above sea level and surrounded by the peaks of the Alps, which are snowy even in summer. The town attracts tourists at any time of the year.
Sölden is located in the Ötztal valley, at the foot of the Tiefenbachgletscher and Rettenbachgletscher glaciers. It is on them that the ski resort is located, which currently has almost 150 km of ski slopes of varying degrees of difficulty served by 35 lifts. The location means that the routes are open until late spring, and the resort starts operating in late autumn. In addition to downhill skiing, you can also cross-country skiing, freeride and snowboarding.
Sölden is also a popular summer resort. The surrounding mountains offer the possibility of walking, cycling and climbing trips. The well-developed network of trails makes the village an excellent starting point, and a large number of restaurants, cafes and bars provide a place to relax after the route.
