University of Oxford Botanic Garden

The oldest in Great Britain and one of the oldest botanical gardens in the world was founded in 1621. Today, over 2 thousand plant species from around the world are grown on almost 2 hectares of land and in several greenhouses. There is a department of medicinal and utility plants, rock garden, greenhouses with a collection of tropical plants, a collection of azaleas and rhododendrons and many others.
