Discovery Museum

A museum dedicated to science and local history located in Newcastle upon Tyne. It was founded in 1934 and is housed in Blandford House, an industrial building from 1899. Interestingly, it is one of the largest free museums in the North East region of England and has won several awards. Adapted to discover and have fun exhibitions attract both parents and their children.

The biggest attraction of the Discovery Museum is Turbinia, once the fastest steam-powered ship in the world, and today the legendary part of the history of Tyneside.
