Life Science Centre
A place called the Center for Life is a science village in Newcastle upon Tyne. The facility conducts charity activities and promotes the development of natural sciences - scientists, clinicians, educators and businessmen work here. In addition to these activities, the facility also runs the Life Science Center - a popular educational attraction.
The Center for Life was opened in 2000 by Queen Elizabeth II. The originator of the project was Dr. James Watson, winner of the Nobel Prize for the co-discovery of the structure of DNA. Since its inception, the Center has been very popular among tourists who come here to discover, experiment and learn about science from the point of view of the people who create it.
The Life Science Center offers an extensive and varied program based on permanent and temporary exhibitions, scientific events and workshops, as well as scientific theater performances. Inside, we will also see a planetarium and 4D Motion Ride.
