The Fan Museum
The Fan Museum The Fan Museum or the Fan Museum has a collection of about 5,000 exhibits from the eleventh century to the present day. The core of the collection consists of fans from the 17th, 19th and 20th centuries. Directly in the exhibition halls, selected copies are presented at temporary thematic exhibitions - usually one presentation covers several hundred fans.
The entire Fan Museum collection, carefully photographed and described, can be viewed in the online gallery on the museum's website. In addition to organizing exhibitions, the museum conducts educational activities. As part of the classes you can learn the rich history of fans, techniques and materials used for production, as well as a huge variety of functions and ways of decorating. As part of museum workshops, you can personally create a fan.
The Fan Museum has a spacious conservatory with a café. Museum rooms are rented for all kinds of events. The offer also includes creating occasional fans, e.g. for company events.
