Mudchute Park and Farm
Mudchute Park and Farm is a park connected to a farm, located on the Isle of Dogs. About 100 animals live here, mainly farm animals such as sheep, goats, pigs, horses and donkeys. Alpacas and llamas can be seen from more exotic species, and rabbits and birds from smaller animals. All animals can be fed with specially prepared granules. There is also a café and an organic food shop.
Mudchute Park and Farm were founded in 1977. Currently, they occupy an area of about 32 hectares and, according to an official description, constitute the largest municipal farm in Europe. The park has a varied landscape - there are both wooded and wetlands, as well as meadows and fields. Thanks to this, you can see various species of plants and animals, including several species of moths and butterflies, and numerous species of birds.
