Diana Memorial Playground
Diana Memorial Playground is a spacious playground built in tribute to Princess Diana near Kensington Palace. Originally it housed a playground JM Barry. The current one is more elaborate, but it is also kept in the atmosphere of stories about Peter Pan and Never Land. There is a large wooden pirate ship, an Indian village and numerous slides, swings and carousels. There is also a section for children with physical disabilities.
During the summer holidays, additional attractions and activities are organized on the square, such as clown visits or reading history aloud. There is also a small cafe with a children's menu. The square is intended for children up to 12 years old. Guardians are required for the child to use it.
The construction of the square took 1.7 million pounds. It was built according to the design of Land Use Consultants and officially opened in 2000.
