God's Own Junkyard
God's Own Junkyard is a combination of a bar and a specific gallery housing thousands of hand-made, brightly lit neon signs. There are signs, props and various types of figures, placed on the walls and separate exhibitions in a form resembling a colorful maze. All props are for rent and sale. In the back of the premises there are tables at which you can eat and drink something. In the summer season, tables are also put out into a small garden.
Artistic and photographic sessions are regularly organized at God's Own Junkyard. The most famous is the one made for Vogue. Photos by Emma Summerton showing Editia Vilkeviciute posing against the backdrop of the characteristic equipment of the premises, were in the October 2011 issue of the magazine.
