Brooks Farm
Brooks Farm is one of many London-based farms for recreational and educational purposes. Established in the 1990s, it is part of Capel Manor College - London's most-known agricultural college. The farm offers many forms of educational activities related to animal husbandry, gardening, designing green areas.
Brooks Farm is the right place for people who want to have close contact with animals. Sheep, donkeys, ponies, rabbits, goats and various species of hens are bred here. The farm offers the opportunity to buy the right food and give it to animals. Rustic slides, climbing structures, and tree houses were built for the youngest guests. Animal paddocks are provided with descriptions of breeds, physiology, structure and curiosities related to a particular species.
Classes on the farm are divided into educational workshops and professional courses where you can gain the qualifications necessary to deal with saddlery, gardening and flower growing. For young people, voluntary work on a farm can be a form of preparation to study at Capel Manor College.
