Brockwell Park
Located in South London, the park is inscribed on the list of historic parks and gardens of England. A family place and full of attractions. There is an outdoor swimming pool, lakes, tennis courts, mini queue, sports fields, playground, bicycle track.
The focal point of the park is Brockwell Hall, a Georgian house on the list of class II monuments, built in 1811-1813 for the owner of the surrounding area, John Blades. In 1892, the park became public property. Thomas Bristowe, who raised funds and organized campaigns to open the park for residents, contributed to this. Unfortunately, he died of a heart attack during the park's opening ceremony.
The park's attraction is also the outdoor swimming pool, Brockwell Lido, opened in 1937 and also included in the list of Class II monuments. The swimming pool and the building next door are in Art Deco style.
