Hackney Museum

A local history museum located in the Hackney district of Central London. We will experience here permanent and temporary exhibitions devoted to stories about people who have settled and are still settling these areas, from Anglo-Saxon settlers to early Victorian villas and recent refugees.

Interesting exhibitions about Hackney's art, history, people and architecture await visitors. Objects include photographs, films, memories, drawings, posters, clothes, materials and furniture. Temporary exhibitions change often enough to find a topic of interest to them. What's more, the museum organizes family events encouraging to spend time together: music classes or art workshops.
