Eureka! The National Children's Museum
Eureka! The National Children's Museum is an interactive educational museum for children. His mission is to learn through play. There are four main galleries here. "Spark" is a modern, flexible exhibition space. "Everything about me" presents issues about health, well-being and the human body. "Living and working together" is a miniature city square and home. Whereas "SoundSpace" teaches children sounds and music.
For children 5 years old two sections were prepared: "Garden of Sounds" and "Desert Discoveries". The museum also has one of the largest sandboxes in Europe and the "Senser Walk" external sensory path.
Eureka! is based on the North American museum model, targeted at families with children aged 0-11. The museum was opened on July 9, 1992 by Prince Charles, who was his official patron for the next twenty years.
