Nendaz is an alpine resort in the famous Four Valleys ski region. It offers excellent conditions for winter and summer active recreation in the mountains and is considered a particularly family-friendly place.
Thanks to its location in one of the sunniest regions of Switzerland, Nendaz has excellent conditions for relaxation both in winter and summer. The location in the four valleys, one of the largest in Europe, means that it offers tourists the highest level of services and access to over 400 km of perfectly prepared ski slopes. The slopes are located on the slopes of the mountains exceeding 3000 m above sea level. The largest and most famous in the area is the Mont Fort peak, which can be accessed by the Mont Fort cable car. In addition to downhill runs, there are also cross-country ski runs, snowboard parks, toboggan runs and sledges, and snow playgrounds.
The resort has a reputation for being family-friendly and offers many leisure activities for children and parents. Animators are employed in the centers, there are ski schools, and in summer climbing. There are also toy rentals, playgrounds and walking paths adapted for trips with prams.
In summer, Nendaz offers access to over 250 km of hiking and biking trails. Due to its location on a plateau, you can admire unparalleled Alpine panoramas both from the village and its surroundings. As many as 20 four-thousanders are visible from here, including Mont Blanck and Matterhorn.
