The narrow-gauge cog railway connects the Kleine Scheidegg Pass with the Jungfraujoch Pass. The top station of the cable car is located at 3,454 meters above sea level, the highest point in Europe that can be reached by rail. Much of the route passes through the Jungfrau Tunnel.
