Museum of Fine Arts Bern

The museum opened in 1879 and is the oldest art gallery in the city. The collection includes over 3,000 paintings and sculptures, as well as around 48,000 drawings, prints, photographs and films. Here you can admire the paintings of Salvador Dali and André Masson, works by representatives of German expressionism, Bernese art and later artistic movements. The exhibits classified as classical modernism also deserve special attention.
