Sweden's oldest amusement park, located on the island of Djurgården. The park is distinguished by an intriguing climate, because many devices, although renovated and modernized, still remember the beginnings of the 20th century. Tivoli Gröna Lund also organizes concerts, sometimes of such famous stars as Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga or ABBA.
Gröna Lund was opened in 1883. It is not one of the largest, it is located on only 6 hectares, but it is distinguished by the fact that it is one of the few amusement parks in Europe, which are located in large cities and not on the outskirts.
The most popular and interesting attraction is Insane - a roller coaster of the "4th dimension" type, in which the wagons are located next to the track and rotate around their axis. In addition to Insane, it is worth paying attention to the most expensive Eclipse (suspended chain carousel almost 122 meters high) or Twister - a wooden roller coaster.
