An exclusive shopping street in the center of Stockholm, in the Norrmalm district, which houses boutiques with high-end products, clothing and jewelry. The passage begins from the pedestrian street up to the city square Stureplan, then leads towards the Royal Library in Stockholm and the accompanying Humlegården.
The name can be translated as "Library Street" or "Library Street", which was given in 1885, probably from the most important object that we can find here: the Royal Library. The facility was built in 1661 and has the status of a state monument.
Biblioteksgatan belongs to the Golden Triangle, which unofficially is called the Stockholm area where we can find the most exclusive boutiques, clubs or restaurants, as well as the most expensive apartments in the area. The neighborhood belongs to the Golden Triangle through the streets: Hamngatan, Norrlandsgatan and Birger Jarlsgatan.
