Founded in 1934, the museum does not collect works of art, but rather sketches, models and preliminary versions of works by many famous Swedish and foreign artists. We can find sketchbooks by Henri Matisse, Henry Moore and Diego Rivera. In addition to the exhibitions, the museum offers a rich collection of publications and recordings on art and numerous art workshops.
