Mont-ras is a small town on the Costa Brava. It stretches from the hills above the coast to the rocky coves around Cape Cap Roig, which is its greatest attraction in Mont-ras.
The Cap Roig Botanical Garden is located on the cape, with the medieval Cap Roig Castle in it. It is the best place to walk in the area, with great views of the rocky coast and the deep blue sea.
The town is not a typical holiday destination because there are no large, developed beaches. However, it is a great place for people who are looking for peace, beautiful views and the opportunity to spend time independently.
In small, rocky coves you can find places for sunbathing and swimming. One of them is the so-called Ruska Bath, accessible only from the sea. You can come here in a rented boat and enjoy the crystal clear sea and remoteness from civilization in peace.
