Ruins of Empúries

The ruins of the former Greek colony and the later Roman city date back to the period from the 6th century BC to the first century. Excavation work is still underway here, but a large part of it is open to the public. You can see the maze of walls and streets and visit the museum in which exhibits found here are exhibited.
