MIRAMAR tourist attractions

Miramar is a settlement in Mallorca, home to one of the island's most famous monuments, a monastery founded in the 13th century by Ramón Llull.

Currently, the village consists of only a dozen farms scattered on the slopes of the mountains. The main attraction of Miramar is the monastery, which is now in private hands. On its premises, you can visit the Mill Museum and the Maritime Museum, as well as visit the historic Miramar Chapel. There is also a viewpoint and an olive garden. It overlooks the rocky, coves and the deep blue sea.

The Miramar Monastery has many valuable monuments and thanks to centuries-old care it has retained its original Romanesque-Gothic appearance. This makes it one of the most visited places on the island, despite its isolation and location away from larger towns.
