Capdepera is a picturesque resort in Mallorca. The coast here is rocky, cut by small coves with secluded beaches. Capdepera Castle rises above the town.
Despite its attractive location and access to numerous beaches, such as Cala Gat Beach or Mesquida Beach, Capdepera has retained the charm of a small town with numerous, atmospheric restaurants and cafes as well as small family guest houses. The seaside part of Cala Retjada has a small port from which you can go on the Cala Ratjada Boat Cruises, where you can admire the coastal grottoes and the jagged rocky coast.
The most important monument of the city is the Capdepera Castle on the hill. From its walls you can admire beautiful views of the surrounding area. There are also other defensive structures on the surrounding hills, such as the Torre Nova des Cap Vermell or the ruins of the 16th century watchtower, which are now the Talaia de son Jaumell Lookout. The lighthouse is also a popular excursion in the area.
