Tibidabo - 512 m

Local name: Tibidabo - 512 m

Tibidabo is the highest hill in the Sierra de Collserola massif, 512 meters above sea level. It offers a panoramic view of Barcelona and the surrounding coast. There are several historic buildings at the top of the hill, including the Church of the Heart of Jesus. On its roof there is a viewpoint from which you can observe the entire city.

Tibidabo is also home to the oldest amusement park in Spain and the third oldest in Europe. It was built in 1901. There are about 25 attractions for children and adults. In addition, it is worth paying attention to a modern telecommunications antenna, the so-called The Collserola tower, which rises to 268 m in height, and the small Ràdio Barcelona pavilion, dating from the 1920s.

You can get to the top of Tibidabo by road or funicular railway, which was the first of its kind in the country.
