Romantic Museum of Quinta da Macieirinha

The museum is housed in a nineteenth-century aristocratic house in which Karol Albert, Prince of Sardinia, lived after his abdication. The residence is located in the beautiful Crystal Palace park. It was arranged to recreate the realities of the life of the Portuguese aristocracy of the Romantic era. Furniture, handicrafts, rugs, dishes and cutlery, as well as a collection of paintings from the beginning of the 19th century were collected here.
