Built in the 18th century, the church belongs to the Congregation of Corpus Christi Souls. This order exists in Porto since the end of the 14th century and was founded by sailors who miraculously survived the storm at sea and sailed safely to the port. Its member was King Henry the Sailor, whose image is in the temple. The facade of the church is lined with azulejos. The interior is decorated with baroque, carved altars.
