The Aveiro Art Nouveau Museum is located in Casa Major Pessoa. It is a historic building from the turn of the 20th century. Its facade is one of the best examples of Art Nouveau in northern Portugal. The decorations inside the building have also been preserved. On the ground floor there is an overview of the most interesting art nouveau implementations in Aveiro, while on the floors there are contemporary art exhibitions.
