Żydowo Power Station is a pumped storage power station, accessible to the public. It is worth to go here for the landscapes themselves, because there is a beautiful view of the lake and hydroelectric power station. Especially scenic scenery can be admired at sunset, being at the end of the canal. It is an ideal place for romantic walks.
The power plant was created in the 1960s. It is located in the village of Żydowo in the district of Koszalin. This place was not chosen accidentally. It is ideal for energy needs. This was seen by Germans in the thirties of the twentieth century who planned to build a small power plant here. They wanted to use the difference in water level mirrors of two lakes close to each other - the lakes and the lake Kawiecko.
