The Nineteenth-century View Tower is located on the highest peak of the Chełmska Mountain in Koszalin. The height of the building is over 136 meters, and in conjunction with the elevation of about - 168 meters above sea level. Standing on it, you can admire the picturesque panorama of Koszalin, Jamno Lake and the Baltic Sea. This is a popular engagement place for lovers.
In addition to the tower, there is a rope park at the top, the Sanctuary of Mary and a chapel dedicated in 1991 to John Paul II. The place is often visited by school trips and scouts who are getting their fitness here.
The tower was built of brick in 1888. Together with it a complex of restaurants and cafeterias was established. Several decades later, the buildings have been forgotten and dismantled. Only the tower, which was delivered to the Sisters of Mary in a terrible state, was left. They decided to develop these areas. They built a small chapel of Our Lady of Three Boundaries and started renovating the tower. Due to the lack of funds and the huge cost of materials, it took many years, but now it is safe to visit the site.
