Trivium is the largest boulder in Poland. During the last glaciation he "drove" into the area of the present cemetery all the way from Scandinavia. Scientists estimate that his weight is about two thousand tons. It is buried in the ground to a depth of about four meters and is constantly falling under its own weight - about 2-3 mm a year. Over the ground it projects at about 3.8 meters and its circumference is about 50 meters.
Interesting story is related to the name of the rock. According to one of the legends it comes from Tryglawa, an Orthodox idol. Apparently he was worshiped in these areas, and his golden statue was buried under the boulder.
At the end of the nineteenth century, a wooden cross with a figure of crucified Christ was erected on the stone. Each year, on the day of All Saints on the boulder there is an altar where priests celebrate Mass for the dead.
