Since 2010, the premises belonging to Fort XII "Werner" houses a military museum. A significant part of the collections gathered there includes exhibits related to the history of the fort and World War I. They include militaria, soldiers' uniforms and equipment, as well as documents, photographs and everyday objects.
One of the most interesting exhibitions is the reconstructed dugout from World War I and the dioramas of battles and skirmishes from World War II. In addition, a Regional Art Gallery has been operating on the premises since 2014.
Fort XII "Werner" is part of the Przemyśl Fortress, which during the First World War was the third largest object of this type in the world. It served as the main fort of the northern section IV. It survived in very good condition, was only partially damaged during the war.
