The Haust mini-brewery is a perfect place to drink a glass of exquisite beer produced using traditional methods. This is the last active brewery in Zielona Góra that cultivates the beer traditions of the region. It is located in a nineteenth-century tenement houses and its interior is covered with beer coasters.
Beer traditions in Zielona Góra date back to the 18th century, when a beer was brewed by 53 authorized brewers. Beer was brewed, among others, in two brewery houses at the market square. At the end of the 19th century, the Czech method of brewing started here on an industrial scale. The Pilzno method was used until the closing of the brewery in 1999, and its continuation is carried out by the Haust brewery. The Haust was opened in 2004, and the first brewing took place two years later. Currently, Haust has already brewed 300,000 liters of beer in 28 styles and earned a wide range of customers.Beer lovers will appreciate the fact that Zielona Góra Pils is listed on the List of Traditional Products, and many of the local brands received awards in significant competitions.Less
