In the facility, located in the building of the former Evangelical school, two permanent exhibitions devoted to the city of Zbąszyń and its surroundings were presented: historical-archaeological and ethnographic. Particularly noteworthy is the presented instrument called the goat, which is gaining more and more popularity. It is in the local music school that the only class of this instrument in Poland is located.
The historical and archaeological exhibition shows the history of the city from prehistory to the 20th century. You can admire such exhibits as a 19th-century bicycle, collections of utensils and tools dating back to the Neolithic period, and enlarged postcards showing the old appearance of the city. The ethnographic exhibition presents the folk culture of the local region. The exhibits include, among others, traditional costumes, everyday items and instruments.
