The Museum of Coal Mining has collections of about 38,000 exhibits related to the history of mining and mining technology and culture. In the technology department, all the industry equipment has been collected, ranging from the simplest tools such as a hammer or a wooden bucket, to a collection of lamps, to electric locomotives and mining tractors.
Among the permanent exhibitions dedicated to culture you can come across a three-part painting by Francis Kurzei, entitled "Mining Triptych". The interior of the daily living room of the miners was arranged to resemble a residential room of the early twentieth century, including furniture, utensils, household utensils, napkins, and bedspreads.
Many valuable memorabilia have been collected in the museum archive, such as miners 'memoirs, miners' records, miners 'associations, brigands, union passes, mining companies' certificates, technical drawings, maps and maps from the 18th and 19th centuries.
