Charm of PRL (Polish People’s Republic) is the first museum of this type in Warsaw, an interesting place where young people have the opportunity to get acquainted with the realities of life in a bygone era, and the elders can recall how they lived in Poland a few decades ago. A small space is filled with souvenirs - posters, books, newspapers, furniture (there are, for example, authentic tables from a milk bar). You can also see the only stationary automatic saturator in Poland and play games from the era.
The museum was created on the initiative of Rafał and Marta Patla, owners of Adventure Warsaw. It was opened in 2014. The museum space depicts individual decades of the PRL, exposing the realities of everyday life that are characteristic of them. The exhibition can be viewed individually or with a guide. On-site museum lessons are also organized, and the museum itself is a point on the trip route in vintage cars to unknown places in Warsaw.Less
