The Classic White House is another monument in the Royal Baths, where you can admire the well-preserved original, fully furnished interiors that were built here at the end of the 18th century. In front of the building there is a bust of Stanisław August Poniatowski and a sundial from 1776 with a statue of Fauna.
White Cottage was built between 1774-1776, as a suburban summer villa of Stanisław August Poniatowski. The designer of the facility was Dominik Merlini, an Italian-born architect working in Poland. The monument is made of square wood and features a central staircase, a dining room, a living room, an octagonal study room, a bedroom, a sanitary area and a dressing room. From the White House towards the Palace on the Island runs the Royal Promenade.
The historic building has survived the war, and its original features and decorations have been preserved, allowing you to explore the atmosphere of houses hundreds of years ago. White Cottage was also the first royal building in Łazienki.
