The facility in 2009 received the Grand Prix for the best shopping center in Poland during the 8th Edition of the Shopping Center Forum & Awards. In Klif Fashion House in Warsaw (the second branch is located in Gdynia) there are 104 shops as well as service and catering outlets. The gallery mainly offers luxury clothing brands.
In the 18th century, Walter Pfeiffer's tanning workshop was located in the current department store, which was the largest tanning company in Poland.
During the Warsaw Uprising, mass executions of approximately 5,000 Poles and Jews took place at the factory. After the end of World War II, the former factory buildings were used by the Warsaw Tanneries and Gravure Printing Plants. After their demolition, the Klif Warsaw Shopping Center was established on the site of the former factory. Its official opening took place in 1999.
