Church of the Evangelical Reformed Parish

Local name: Kościół Ewangelicko-Reformowany

The Church of the Evangelical Reformed Parish was built in Neo-Gothic style. The design of the tall tower with characteristic tented roof draws inspiration from the tower of the Cathedral of Our Lady
Freiburger Münster. The interior is simple and modest. Its most interesting part is the oak pulpit.

The church was designed by Adolf Loewy. Because of high costs, the construction lasted 14 years. From 1866 to 1880, one of the materials used was cast iron. During World War II, the building was only partially damaged. The damaged sacristy and presbytery were rebuilt after the warfare.

The church is a headquarters of the parish of the Evangelical Reformed Church, one of ten in the entire country. At present, its community has 3500 followers.
