The Parish of St. Stanislaus Kostka is located in the Church of St. Stanislaus Kostka, the main church of Warsaw's Żoliborz. It was built in the interwar period and was to combine modern architecture with the traditional form of early-Christian basilicas.
The interior reflects two most important principles of its patron Saint Stanislaus Kostka, the church's longtime parson - God and Nation. The motto can be spotted on the walls which also consist of plaques commemorating, among others, Polish people murdered during World War II. What also brings attention are stained glasses in the presbytery which briefly present the history of Poland and the Catholic Church in Poland. The banners symbolizing the battle for independence can be admired in the main nave.Less
