The museum collects items related to Polish literature. Its exhibition consists of manuscripts, book collections, items from the offices of famous writers, and also voice recordings of known personas of culture. The permanent exhibition is dedicated to the patron of the museum - Adam Mickiewicz.
The exhibition dedicated to Mickiewicz presents the poet and his works. It contains manuscripts, the autograph of "Grażyna", the title card of "Pan Tadeusz", letters, original copies of his written works, and personal belongings.Branches of the Museum of Literature are also the museums of Witold Gombrowicz, Władysław Broniewski, Maria Dąbrowska, Andrzej Strug, and the Institute of Documentation and Studies on Polish Literature.Less
