Town Hall in Szczecinek
Local name: Ratusz w Szczecinku
The town hall belongs to the most representative buildings of Szczecinek. It stands in the city center, at Plac Wolności. It is a neo-Gothic building with neo-Roman elements. Above the rectangular block covered with a sloping roof is a square tower with battlements.
The town hall was built in 1852, as evidenced by a plaque on the tower. The clock placed on the tower was made in 1927 with the use of clock bells cast in 1801 in Szczecinek. The town hall is a relatively simple building dominated by a brick tower. Inside, in the meeting room there are stained glass windows from the 1930s depicting genre scenes and a procession of craftsmen with their attributes.
