It is the second largest Malbork castle in terms of the size of the Teutonic Order. The castle consisted of three sections, a high castle, numerous walls, a moat, a tower, and a high tower of almost 50 meters, which is the best preserved part of the castle. Since 2013 the castle is the seat of the local Regional Museum.
On the ground floor you can see archaeological exhibits against the background of the original walls of the castle. On the first floor there is a former evangelical chapel, where temporary exhibitions are displayed, and in the attic ethnographic collections: local costumes, ceramics or tablecloths. In the basement there is a large cinema hall, where you can watch the multimedia reconstruction of the castle. There is also a large mock-up and old maps, photos and postcards depicting Czluchów and its surroundings.
Along with the guide, visitors can enter the tower of the castle, which overlooks the city, the lakes and the woods. It is also possible to organize a cruise on the lake, on rafts. Such a cruise allows you to admire the panorama of the castle and parts of the city from a completely different side. The only closed part of the castle is the courtyard. This is due to archaeological research conducted there.
