The historic hydrotechnical building is a unique place where two water courses cross - the upper Brda Canal and the lower channel of the Czerska Struga.
You can visit the two roads by the canal and then through a wooden bridge or bottom, along the Czerska Struga, passing the Brda Canal on a special footbridge under the bridge. In the neighborhood of the structure is a 30-meter lookout tower, from which you can see the panoramic view of the aqueduct.
The emergence of the building is a matter of course, because during the war the Germans decided to use the Brda Canal to irrigate the surrounding fields and grow hay on the need of the army. During the digging of the drainage ditches, the Czerska Struga was found, whose mirror was lowered and undermined the hydration plans. Consequently, it was decided to overcome the problem by building an aqueduct, which flows through the water channel Brda. It is 75 meters wide and the canal water level is 9 meters higher than the Czerska Struga. The first construction was made of stone and brick, which in the 1970s was replaced with reinforced concrete.
