Flower Alley

The pedestrian area, developed thanks to the victory of the project "Aleja Kwiatowa w kwiatach" ("Flower Alley in flowers") in the plebiscite "Szczeciński Budżet Obywatelski 2016" ("Szczecin Participatory Budget 2016"), is located at the Polish Soldiers Square.

Visitors can admire over several hundred thousand flowers including narcissuses, crocuses, tulips, as well as mobile flower towers and various floristic installations. The boardwalk also hosts numerous cultural and social events organized as part of the 'Colorful Alley' initiative, including Eco Easter, Vege Aleja, or Szczecin Christmas Market.

On the area of Flower Alley there is also a sundial and a glass pavillion, which is now the headquarters of the Tourist Information Center. The Civic Project 'Aleja Kwiatowa w kwiatach' outcompeted over 50 submitted propositions. The project, besides restoring a former glory of the alley, also assumes the creation of a 24-hour florist's shop.
