The Suwałki Regional Museum, often referred to as Resursa, consists of several departments that collect, describe, store and exhibit exhibits. You can admire exhibitions presenting archeological, ethnographic, historical and 19th-century art collections. In addition, the institution organizes museum lessons, cyclical events, as well as temporary exhibitions.
The ethnographic section presents mainly furniture and tools used in traditional rural farms, as well as folk crafts, clothing, toys and Easter eggs from Suwalszczyzna and Masuria. The exhibit of art exposes Polish painting from the 19th and 20th centuries, objects made of porcelain, glass or silver. In addition, there are lamps, antique clock, fruit bowl and paper buttons.
Historical collections include numerous documents, postcards, photographs, as well as old maps and furniture, handicrafts produced by local factories. In the archaeological section, valuable objects made of stone and bone and corner tools are shown.
