Geographic Center of Europe

In 1775, astrologer royal cartographer Szymon Antoni Sobiekrajski made calculations based on which he determined that the geographical center of Europe was in Suchowola, Podlasie. In the place he pointed out stands a boulder with a star made of cubes and a copper plaque with the inscription. In the evening the monument is highlighted.
