The museum has numerous exhibits, which have been ordered and assigned to individual groups: archaeological, ethnographic, historical, guild crafts as well as militaria and monuments of the chantry brotherhood. The institution also organizes temporary exhibitions, museum lessons, exhibitions of photography, sculpture, and painting, as well as publishing.
Among the museum exhibits presented inside the city villa, a copy of children's knight's armor from the nineteenth century and a cannon on a tow truck deserve special attention. Also presented here is a collection of crossbows that were made today by Jerzy Jurga.
The exhibits in the field of ethnography include, among others, eighteenth-century sculptures made of wood, as well as numerous numismats and military items dating from the 17th to 20th century. In addition, the museum has numerous archaeological monuments and written documents, such as the Śrem document, or the privilege for the Szewski Brotherhood of the City of Śrem from 1596.
