Town Hall in Rzeszow

City hall in Rzeszów was built in neo-renaissance and neo-gothic style. Its characteristic feature is top decorated with the clock with gilded eagle made from copper plate, numerous decorated towers and variously shaped windows above. The building functions as the headquarters for the city office and president, that's why access to it is limited.

In the beginning, it was not only destined for administrative purposes but also for trading. Wine, honey and March beer were sold in the cellars. The tower bell was ringing announcing the beginning and the end of a trade. With time, this role was played by the clock.
