Multimedia fountain

Rzeszów Multimedia Fountain is one of the biggest fountains of this type in Poland. Placed near Rzeszów Castle and Lubomirski Summer Palace it offers summertime shows which are a combination of water, music, lights and sometimes even acting. The amphitheater equipped in 300 seats can be found near the fountain.

The fountain was opened in 2013 in place of a community playground. The first show, prepared by lighting director Bogumił Palewicz, was admired by about 10 000 people. The construction consists of 1600 jets, 143 light points, circular fountain, dry-interactive fountain and 5 fountain-flowers. Its entire surface amounts to almost 300 square meters. The tank is electrically controlled from the engine room located right beneath the fountain.

During shows, water streams dance to the rhythm of music while screen made of fog displays multimedia projections. Aesthetics of the whole is completed by rich flora - almost 4000 shrubs and trees designedly planted in the fountain's surroundings.
