Rydzyna Castle

The castle in Rydzyna is considered a pearl of the Polish Baroque. The former residence of Rydzyński family now serves as a hotel. Various types of conferences and events are organized there, and visitors can easily look over the interiors of the historic building.

Hotel "Zamek w Rydzynie" ("Castle in Rydzyna") is a hotel and conference complex. Trainings, seminars, exhibitions, conferences, conventions, symposia and concerts take place there. Additionally, it is worth coming there not only for an accommodation, but also to see the beautiful, richly decorated interiors of the building. Inside, there are antique furniture, souvenirs of the Sułkowski family and natural collections.

Originally, a Gothic castle stood in Rydzyna. After two centuries, partly on its walls, a new building in the Baroque style was built. The building has been reconstructed many times. On its eastern side, an English landscape park was created. An interesting fact associated with the castle is a legend, according to which, once a year, during a stormy night, a holy mass is celebrated there by a skeleton priest.
