Thanks to its Market, Rydzyna is called Wielkopolska Baroque Pearl. It was laid out in the mid 18th century. Surrounded by baroque and neo-baroque houses. Many of them have beautifully decorated peaks. Baroque is also the town hall located in the western frontage of the Market Square. In the center of the square stands the 18th-century statue of the Holy Trinity.
In the 18th century, a new urban design was laid out in Rydzyna. It was based on the radial pattern of streets coming out of the market. Around the rectangular square are preserved baroque houses with decorated façades and peaks. In the west frontage was built in 1751 City Hall. It is a baroque building with a pilaster-like façade and a clock tower with a pointed helmet.
The most valuable object on the market is the Baroque sculpture of the Holy Trinity. It refers to popular at this time particularly in Austria the mighty columns. She was thanked in the end for the plague of 1706. On the decorated pedestal stands God the Father and Jesus, and over them a gilded dove stands symbolizing the Holy Spirit.
